One of the busiest resorts along the Algarve, Albufeira maintains an incredible roster of seafront kiosks, many selling fun-in-the-sun products to keep you entertained during your days spent on the beaches.

The main shopping areas are along Rua do 5 de Outubro and Praça Duarte de Pacheco. An even denser collection of merchandise is on display in the town's largest shopping plaza, Modelo Shopping Center, Rua de Munícipio, about 5km north of the town centre. Most of the independently operated shops inside are open daily from 10am to 10pm.

Algarve Shopping is a giant shopping mall and entertainment centre just a short drive from Albuferia in the town of Guia. It features all the most popular high street and designer shops as well as restaurants, cinemas and a 12-lane bowling alley. The centre is located in the heart of the Algarve, making it a great day out and a welcome break from the beach. A free shuttle bus is provided for those without their own transport - ask at your hotel for the nearest pick-up point.
